Reconnaissance Team Lead

·          Accepted an interim assignment on the Hurricane Katrina subcontract to the Environmental Protection Agency assigned to assist in the assessment of environmental impacts caused by Hurricane Katrina.  Responsibilities included the scheduling of 13 two member teams to participate with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and the Environmental Protection Agency in the reconnaissance of Under Ground Storage Tanks (UST), Multi-Media Facilities, Aerial Operations, and Radiological Sources displaced or damaged due to the hurricane.  Provide daily reporting for EPA Incident Command of activities and issues encountered.  Interface with federal and state agencies to ensure appropriate documentation of data collected during field reconnaissance.
